CHOC Community Pediatrics have been designated patient-centered medical homes (PCMH) by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The national designation honors practices for their commitment to continuous quality improvement and patient-centered approach to care. CHOC’s PCMH-designated practices include CHOC Primary Clinic in Orange; CHOC Clinic, Santa Ana (at the Boys & Girls Club); CHOC Health Center, Garden Grove; and Clinica CHOC Para Niños. They are the only pediatric-dedicated PCMHs in Orange County.
PCMH-designated sites follow NCQA standards by:
According to the NCQA, research shows that PCMHs improve quality and the patient experience, increase staff satisfaction, and reduce health care costs.
“CHOC is proud to earn the PCMH designation, which reflects our commitment to the highest standards of pediatric care. We strive to partner with our providers and families to ensure the very best health outcomes for the children we serve,” explains Carmen Namenek, manager, CHOC Community Pediatrics.
We are on a mission to raise $50,000 for the Children's Hospital of Orange County. CHOC leads the way in our area providing the highest quality health care for young people. For every referral I receive, I donate a portion of the commission to help kids overcome cancer and other life threatening diseases. Kids under their care are 300% more likely to enter into remission.
